Trump clears the Strait

All of the Strait is within the territorial waters of Iran and Oman.
Nope. International waters, pirate.
Both Iran and Oman claim the standard 12 nautical mile territorial sea under international law (UNCLOS Article 3, which reflects customary law even for non-parties).
Doesn't apply to straits between several nations, pirate.
Because 12 + 12 = 24 nautical miles > 21 nautical miles, the territorial seas of the two countries fully cover the strait at its narrowest point and overlap in the middle.
Nope. International waters, pirate.

Again, events indicate I am correct.

There is no “international waters” gap.
  • The northern portion of the Strait (up to 12 nm from Iran’s baseline) is within Iran’s territorial sea.
  • The southern portion (up to 12 nm from Oman’s baseline, including the Musandam Peninsula) is within Oman’s territorial sea.

Again, events indicate I am correct.
Lie. Denial.

Lie. Synthesis.

Repetition fallacy. Ignoring maritime law won't work, pirate.

You don't know, of course.

Replacing even a fraction of Gulf oil would require years of investment in higher-cost alternatives (more U.S./Canadian shale, Brazilian pre-salt, or Venezuelan heavy oil).

Short-term, prices would surge (as seen in recent disruptions pushing crude above $100–110/barrel), raising costs for gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, plastics, chemicals, and electricity.

Global GDP would take a hit from higher energy inflation; developing economies dependent on Gulf imports (much of Asia) would suffer most.

Strategic petroleum reserves help temporarily but are finite and not a long-term fix.

This is not sustainable for America or Israel.

Make believe is fun for you, isn't it?

Remember, the USA is not only the largest producer of oil on the planet, but over 4 times larger than Iran. Where Iran produces a scant 7% of the oil used., the USA produces about 30%
