Trump celebrates Memorial Day by saying dead soldiers would have loved his presidency

Memorial Day is remembering the people who died while serving in the country's armed forces, so what are the President's first thoughts on Memorial Day:

"Happy Memorial Day! Those who died for our great country would be very happy and proud at how well our country is doing today. Best economy in decades, lowest unemployment numbers for Blacks and Hispanics EVER (& women in 18years), rebuilding our Military and so much more. Nice!” - Tweet 1

‘The President deserves some answers.’ @FoxNews in discussing ‘SPYGATE. - Tweet 2

“‘Sally Yates is part of concerns people have raised about bias in the Justice Dept. I find her actions to be really quite unbelievable." - Tweet 3

“‘We now find out that the Obama Administration put the opposing campaigns presidential candidate, or his campaign, under investigation. That raises legitimate questions. I just find this really odd...this goes to the heart of our electoral system." - Tweet 4

Now tell me that is what Americans deserve from their President on the very day the Nation is suppose to be remembering the people who died while serving in the country's armed forces?

Certainly not thing like this: Trump celebrates Memorial Day by saying dead soldiers would have loved his presidency

A letter to the editor is not being published in the literary sense. You're a joke.

My opinion was published.

Have you ever been...except here where they take anything anyone is willing to dish out?

I doubt it very much.

If there is a joke here, Yaya...you are the joke.

Keep telling yourself that. Obviously that is not true. Just read what you wrote.

I wrote it...remember.

I did not contradict myself.

But apparently you have difficulty understanding comments that have "big words" involved.

I did not reverse my opinion...and it was a fine article. Even got replies.

You have struck out.

Big words bother you...do they?

Too bad.

And Donald Trump is a sleazebag for patting himself on the back when he should have been honoring people who had the balls to go to war...and die for this country rather than making it a slum like he is doing.

Sure you did. More than once. Anyone that reads it can see that clearly. You may think it was a fine article. Anyone delusional would. What did you think about Trumps speech at Arlington today? All that actual honoring our fallen must really crawl up your ass.

You did it then, you are doing it now. Look, I do not like to pick on those with diminished mental capacity. Obviously from the age of the article and it being 2018 it is safe to say you were born that way. I really do apologize for thinking it was dementia.

Why can't you answer my simple question?

Obama is post-Vietnam, which means he has never had to deal with the draft, unlike Trump, Cheney, Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Savage, etc., who all did their best to make sure they were never even near the draft, but just shockingly, when it was other peoples' kids in harms way, they were all macho military

What's that got to do with him serving?
Thousands served during times of peace.

The only thing that "struck out" here is your opinion piece. It was more of a faux intellectual, self aggrandizing writing in which you reversed you opinion two or three times. In general the use of big words from a stupid person. Nothing has changed in that respect.

All 4 of our local papers have letters to the editors all the time.

I guess that makes them all published writers. :palm:
