Let's be clear. I didn't support Hilary, but not for the same reasons as the right.... you know that. My vote was against Dump and any other republican running for office.

There is more than enough room under the 86 and 90 acts of congress to deport those who are draining the economy and bringing violence and drugs into our nation. No one is against LEGAL IMMIGRATION....if the two sides can get together to modernize Mr. Reagan's approach....then Legal will have a whole new meaning..no? Who is against anyone wanting to better themselves through legal immigration? No one....but everyone must be forced out of the shadows through one method or another to determine their potential worth or harm to this nation....while curbing the illegal flood of immigration at our border.
It appears to me.....Mr. Trump is simply fishing for more Latino support and will most likely get it...as most Latino's are more conservative than liberal with their societal more's. If he can successfully pull something of this magnitude off...he's a shoe in for an 8 year administration.

What was the substance of this first address to congress and the nation? As always, Mr. Trump is a negotiator...he presented his terms to congress (in particularly the democrats of congress) in the area's that he was willing to negotiate and to the GOP in areas where he was never to going to bend his core principles that were promised before the election....he would negotiate in some areas but never back away from the duty that got him elected, TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.
He never backed down in calling the evil of Islamic Terrorism by its true name....and clearly stated with no ambiguity....that the United States was engaged in a war THAT MUST BE WON with the evil that is Islamic Terrorism...something missing from the vocabulary of the last commander in chief....WAR, evil, win, enemy and ISLAMIC...he exposed the lies of Obama Care....the lies of political correctness that refused to define the enemy in this war on terror, the lies of the worthless foreign policies that have accomplished little except to waste some 6 trillion dollars being redistributed to the middle east to purchase the supposed help with the FAKE Muslim member nations that numbered 68 but where only 2 actually existed in that false coalition with any type of support....
All in all....a great first volley in the war against the democrats in negotiating to place American Citizens first...above political correctness, wealth redistribution, and radical ideologies. What was witnessed last night was the tactic made famous by Muhammad Ali....the Rope a Dope....he presented the appearance of someone against the ropes but in reality he was merely tiring his opponent to the point of physical exhaustion...leaving the democrats with a false sensation that they had somehow accomplished something with all those wasted blows. Last night demonstrated the fact that the democrats once again have underestimated the abilities and talent of Donald J. Trump. They looked for him to back down from his tone and mission....wrong, he simply dug in deeper for the long haul.

I think the immigration laws should be changed, regardless of how and when you got here you should be allowed to apply for citizenship or legal residency and have the same set of criteria apply. I don't believe that totally controlling any of our borders is realistic, it is both cost prohibitive and counterproductive. The fact is that people will come her illegally. Once they are here if there is not a way for them to then apply and become "legal" there will always be an enslaved underclass afraid to seek legal protection, they will be taken advantage of by Corporations and gangs. They will produce an underclass of children who were raised in poverty and did not get educated well enough to be profitable Americans, they will raise children who saw America take advantage of their parents.
At no time in history has it been beneficial to society or culture to have a legally unprotected underclass who were enslaved.
