Trump Cancels Release of 'Irrefutable Report' of His Innocence

Donald Trump has backtracked on his plans to release what he called an "irrefutable report" that would prove his claims about voter fraud during the 2020 election.

The former president promised on Tuesday that the report would prove his innocence in Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis' case against him and 18 of his allies, all accused of planning to overturn Trump's election loss to President Joe Biden in the state of Georgia. Willis released a 98-page indictment against Trump and his confidants after a grand jury vote on Monday.

But in a Truth Social post two days later, Trump said that his legal team would prefer to put proof of "election fraud" and "irregularities" into formal legal filings instead of releasing the report in a news conference like originally planned.

Now, Trump will blame his lawyers. He better be careful:

Former Trump attorney Jenna Ellis is literally BEGGING for cash to fund her defense after she was criminally indicted along with Trump earlier this week in Georgia. She’s desperately trying to crowdfund her defense fees, but so far has raised only a tiny fraction of the money she’ll need.
Despite once being a close Trump ally, Ellis has recently turned on him and is now backing Ron DeSantis in the Republican presidential primary. If she goes further and FLIPS on Trump, I bet she has a lot of dirt to share with prosecutors!!

So what's the issue here?

He followed the advice of his lawyers.

There is no issue. This outcome was totally predictable. Classic Trump. Usually, the line is “in three weeks” that never materializes. This time it was Monday that never materialized.

Trump will be changing lawyers like his underwear before now and his trial dates. I seriously doubt if we get all the way through his pre-trials before a changing of the guards!

The main reason- Trump has not a decent defense to any of his crimes. So he needs to be seriously looking at a Plea deal at this point.

And Trump does not want to hear this from any of his attorneys, BUT HE WILL! And they will be fired- OR THEY WILL BE RUNNING FOR SHELTER!

Another indication that the over optimism is finally getting beaten out of Trump.

It has been perhaps his biggest flaw in life.

The Donald Trump comedy show. :rofl2::rofl2::rofl2::rofl2::rofl2:

I was wondering what kind of excuses you Magatard would come-up with.

Not sure what the issue here is.

His lawyers advised him to save his evidence for presentation in court, makes perfect sense to me.

Trump isn't a lawyer so he wasn't aware what the ramifications could be if he releases it early.

In other words, 1) he's got nothing, and 2) his attorneys told him to STFU about it. :rofl2:

She was one of his attorneys, though? Wouldn't she be barred from testifying about any conversations/meetings between them under attorney-client privilege?

His lawyers want to save the evidence for court.

Let's step into MAGATWorld for a second and pretend that he really does have "irrefutable evidence" of enough voter fraud in Georgia to give him those electoral votes.

1. It wouldn't change the outcome of the election. Biden would still have more electoral votes than #TRE45ON.
2. Why hasn't he taken this so-called evidence to court before now?
3. Having evidence of voter fraud still doesn't change the fact that he committed the crimes he is charged with -- beginning with pressuring the SOS to "find 11,780 votes."
