Trump Campaign Panics

Is the Pivot coming?

Can he do it?

I suspect we will see a lot of teleprompter speeches coming soon.

Trump's "colorful" Twitter comments have already been diluted down.

I personally don't believe he can control himself for long, but I don't think it's that relevant at this point.

He has no money. He has no campaign workers or structure. The Clinton campaign is currently blanketing swing states with millions of dollars in ads to set the narrative in stone. Trump has 0 dollars in ads up in swing states, the last i heard as of Friday.

He's a dead man walking, electorally speaking.

Sad thing is, thus far he hasn't needed to.. THe masochistic media just loves them some trump, he dominates every news cycle no matter what..

If anything else happens they still focus on "what does trump think about it", "what stupid thing will he say about it", "read what he said about it" etc etc etc blah blah blah..:barf:

I remember when they called Obama's campaign silly for trying to get ads out early to define Romney, while Romney came back a bit, he never fully recovered.

who called Obama silly for that? Do you have citations or does this just exist in your imagination like your many other stories you tell on JPP?

I cant turn on the television these days without seeing a clip of Trump ridiculing the handicapped reporter. The ads are on every station.

That must have been his campaign manager. I'm sure he told Trump that mocking the disabled would get him a lot of traction.

people leave campaigns all the time :) at least he stood by lewondowski with the whole fields thing. It looks like the manafort group is now in charge of the campaign.

how many people do you think knew about romney then when obama ran the ads as opposd to the people who knew about trump now?

Romney was the Republican Nominee at the time, I suspect about the same.

Hey - that's not damage-control spin I see there, is it?

You should apply for the vacancy. I have a hunch that "damage control" is their biggest priority.

"A passage from Dan Calabrese's 2008 article presents one of Zeifman's chief complaints about Hillary, that she supposedly "dishonestly" drafted a brief that argued President Nixon's counsel should not be allowed to participate in the Judiciary Committee's evidentiary hearings...

But nearly everything stated in this passage is wrong: Hillary Rodham didn't draft a legal brief that was "unethical" (save that it made a legal argument Zeifman didn't agree with), she didn't "confiscate" public documents, and she didn't do anything that she hadn't been directed to do by her supervisor (and Zeifman's).

Zeifman had no authority to "terminate" Hillary. They were members of different staffs, and Zeifman had no hiring or firing authority over members of the Impeachment Inquiry staff for which Hillary worked. (That authority rested with Special Counsel John Doar and, ultimately, with House Judiciary Committee Chairman Peter Rodino.) Quite tellingly, Zeifman made absolutely no mention of having "fired" or "terminated" Hillary Rodham, nor of telling her that he "could not recommend her for any further positions," in his 1995 book; he only started claiming so much later. Back in 1995 he noted that Hillary had remained with the inquiry staff up until the end, leaving only when President Nixon's August 1974 resignation made the issue of impeachment moot and the Judiciary Committee's impeachment inquiry staff was therefore disbanded:
Hillary was twenty-seven when the impeachment inquiry staff was disbanded. The next morning she took a train down to Little Rock, Arkansas. She moved in with Bill Clinton and they eventually married.
