In case you missed it, we are in the infancy of a new American revolution.
It began with the Tweet Heard Round the World by Donald Trump on Tuesday night.
“This election is a total sham and a travesty! We are not a democracy!” Trump typed.
It was time to rise up against the 60 million Americans who “voted” to give President Barack Obama a second term — despite Obama’s reluctance to deal with the real issues, such as showing Trump his college grades.
Such treachery shall not stand, I guess. So Trump sounded a call to action.
“Let’s fight like hell and stop this great and disgusting injustice!” he tweeted.
Trump couched his call for an uprising on the imagined fact that Republican candidate Mitt Romney lost while getting more overall votes than Obama, which wasn’t true.
Not that this fact error matters. The truth is frequently a temporary obstacle to a good marketing plan, and by then Trump was marketing himself as the next George Washington....
