Trump Calls for complete shutdown of muslims immigrating to America

This is absolutely embarrassing. Trump is trying to crush the Republican Party. There's a reason numerous right wing pundits are ripping him on Twitter right now. This is just flat out bigotry and its ugly. On top of that it just plays right into Obama's hands.

Comments like this are an act of desperation. Maybe he saw one poll in Iowa which has him losing to Cruz and felt he had to go scorched earth.

I am just grateful that the liberals have found a religion they can rally around. It will be very convenient when ISIS wants them to convert

Yeah, because not wanting to take the extraordinary measure of singling out one religion out of all for total exclusion/cleansing from our society means we are converts to said religion.

I don't think Christians should be prohibited from immigration to the US, does that mean that I'm rallying around Christianity?

Or maybe his goal is to slash and burn the republican party. The more idiots that support him after he says craptacular BS like this the more he appears to me to be trying to be a caricature.

Something that would not be possible if almost a third of Republicans were not excited by his xenophobia. There is a serious sickness in the Republican Party that robs it of credtitability.

Think about it, every time Trump says something more over the line of reasonable, his poll numbers among the Republican voters shoot up!
