Donald Trump boasted to associates that he had “intelligence” on the sex life of Emmanuel Macron, it has been claimed. The former US president told people in his circle that he had gleaned illicit details that “not very many people know” through “intelligence” he had seen or been briefed on, according to Rolling Stone.

The revelations come after Mr Trump’s Florida home was raided by the FBI. On their list of seized documents, item 1a is listed as “info re: President of France”. It is not known if this relates to Mr Macron’s personal life.

According to two sources who spoke to the magazine, Mr Trump was “light on details and specifics” as he bragged to them. One source said: “It is often hard to tell if he’s bull-----ing or not.”
