IMO the Dems need to back up and regroup and find themselves a strong leader.
IMO they should take a real good look at Sen. Tammy Duckworth.
She is a decorated war vet, that had her helicopter shot down by an RPG in war and lost both of her legs.
She has put forth some real good legislation that helps not only vets, but women, children, the working poor and many others.
I have e-mailed her and told her my thoughts and she replied that she will think about it and that who ever the Dems put up will have one hell of a big job cleaning up the mess Trump will leave them.

I think that's what they are doing now. Less fringe stuff and more meat and potatoes.

Duckworth would be good. Any of those who made the video Trump hates so much would be a good choice too.

Biden pulled a Ruth Bader on his party. No doubt. Fucked them over just like she fucked up the SCOTUS seatings.

But the rational people among us, the non-kneejerkers and cultists, knew that Harris was the superior person for the job. Just like we knew Clinton was superior back in 2016.

By that time, overall grocery prices should come down slightly and gas prices should be down even more than they already are.

Next year, "normies" will start feeling a whole lot better about the economy and "prices". It just takes some time.

His BBB hasn't all kicked in yet either , as I asked before WHY did the Republicans not want all of it to go into effect till AFTER the mid terms?
Do they know a lot of it is going to hurt a lot of Americans , the lower income people the most.
Trumps and the Republicans BBB cuts a lot of federal programs the poor, working poor, people who are working two jobs just to get by . that these people need and need badly but it looks like they don't care who they hurt.
And when all these cuts do go into effect and really start hurting the MAGAS they will be crying like babies and it will be too late to go back.
Well AGAIN they got what they wanted and when it comes back and bites them in the ass too bad suckers you voted for it now suffer and don't cry too much.

Again not all of Trumps tariffs and BBB are in place yet.
And as I said I wonder why the Republicans don't want all of the BBB put in place right away.
If you try to read it there are pages and pages of changes to it right in the beginning it would take an army of lawyers just to figure them out before you even get to the jest of the bill.
If it was as good as they say it is why not put it into effect right away?
