Jessuzfchrist! Did the government employees WALK OUT? Seriously, do lawmakers HAVE TO SIT THERE AND LISTEN TO HIM? Can people just walk out and leave?

And it turns out the THIN-SKINNED M'fucker blamed Pelosi for him being called a M'fucker by a freshman congesswoman. I'm sure he is used to CONTROLLING women and wonders why WE won't.

President Trump reportedly opened a meeting Friday with congressional leaders with an incendiary rant before saying he preferred the word “strike” to refer to the ongoing government shutdown, according to multiple reports.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump began Friday's heated closed-door negotiations with Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) and newly minted Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) with a 15-minute, profanity-laced rant. Sources familiar with the meeting also confirmed the account to CNN and the Daily Beast.

The president’s speech centered on his $5.6 billion demand for a border wall, according to CNN. The outlet reported that Trump said he would be unwilling to negotiate for any less.
The Daily Beast reported that Trump also blamed Pelosi, without being prompted, for freshman Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) vowing at a party on Thursday that House Democrats would “impeach the motherf---er.”

The Hill has reached out to the White House for comment.

Trump reportedly told lawmakers that he was too popular to impeach, a claim he has repeated frequently on Twitter.

Of course he would p0refer the term "strike". Anything to shift responsibility to someone else.

You can bet your ass that if he keeps on calling it a strike, before you know it, his brainwashed right-wing zombie drooler base will all be calling it a strike, too.

Strike action, also called labor strike, labour strike, or simply strike, is a work stoppage, caused by the mass refusal of employees to work. A strike usually takes place in response to employee grievances. Strikes became common during the Industrial Revolution, when mass labor became important in factories and mines.

In most countries, strike actions were quickly made illegal,[citation needed] as factory owners had far more power than workers. Most Western countries partially legalized striking in the late 19th or early 20th centuries.

Strikes are sometimes used to pressure governments to change policies. Occasionally, strikes destabilize the rule of a particular political party or ruler; in such cases, strikes are often part of a broader social movement taking the form of a campaign of civil resistance.

Notable examples are the 1980 Gdańsk Shipyard, and the 1981 Warning Strike, led by Lech Wałęsa. These strikes were significant in the long campaign of civil resistance for political change in Poland, and were an important mobilizing effort that contributed to the fall of the Iron Curtain and the end of communist party rule in eastern Europe

Apparently there was a 2nd meeting with Pence. She sent STAFF. Also from this apparently TRUMP thinks or us trying to turn Pelosi and Schumer against each other.

Sounds like she is smarter than TRUMP and helluva lot smarter than Ryan!

PS I guess JARED is ALSO going to be a budget negotiator.

Pelosi gave Trump the ‘middle finger’ by only sending aides to meet with his negotiation team: CNN panelist

During a panel discussion on Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and her new power as House Speaker again, a CNN panelist noted that the Democratic leader appears to be showing up Donald Trump whenever she can.

Addressing a budget negotiation meeting helmed by Vice President Mike Pence on Saturday, attended by senior White House officials including Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney and Trump adviser Jared Kushner, it was pointed out that Pelosi only sent some aides.

According to New York Times White House correspondent Maggie Haberman, Trump is going to have to learn to deal with Pelosi on a different level.

“He [Trump] has told himself he’ll be able to work with her,” Haberman explained. “The White Housee has tried, without success, over the last several weeks to divide Nancy Pelosi from [Democratic Sen. Chuck] Schumer and drive a wedge between the two. It’s underestimating the degree to which they are close and overestimating the degree to which Chuck Schumer wants to have comity with the president.”

Politico political analyst Eliana Johnson jumped in to point out what she took away from the meeting that reportedly went nowhere.

“I’d add one point to that dynamic played out yesterday when Trump, his delegation that he sent to negotiate over the shutdown was the vice president of the United States
and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner,” she observed. “Nancy Pelosi sent two aides and a former administration official said this is a case study of the new dynamic where she basically gave him the middle finger.”
