Actually, WW II reenactments are very popular across the nation. You can also find Korean war reenactments.

Gold price is affected by marketing to some extent, so look at silver, or copper. All rising like a rocket relative to the shrinking US Dollar.

I would like the answer to the above as well. Also, what is the context? Are they doing it to show support for what the Nazis did or are they doing it to show what inhuman pieces of shit they were? Is it for education or for propaganda?

I don't know, I'd have to see it, and I'd love to know why he and his son always played the Nazis. But all in all, I consider all of these idiots who "reenact" wars and actually dress up for it to be the biggest losers in the world. Jesus Christ, I'd rather date someone who was dressing up as a Klingon. Serious as a heart attack.

House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-Va.) sought on Sunday to quickly and clearly distance the Republican Party from a GOP candidate whose past participation in Nazi re-enactments surfaced this weekend.

In an appearance on "Fox News Sunday," Cantor (the lone Jewish Republican in the House) said he "would absolutely repudiate" Rich Iott, the Republican nominee for Ohio's 9th District who apparently had an affinity for donning a German Waffen SS uniform.

"What we have got now is a new crop of young leaders energized to go to Washington for the right reasons," said Cantor. "Now Debbie [Wasserman Schultz, Cantor's co-panelist] went and launched into her attacks as to some of the reports about candidates that are running, particular the one in Ohio having to do with Nazi re-enactment. She knows that I would absolutely repudiate that and do not support an individual who would do something like that."

What Cantor did is exactly the illustration of why people are disgusted with politicians," Iott said. "He made comments and took a position that was good for him at the time, regardless of whether it was good for anyone else or good for the voters."

Iott said he has been involved in re-enactments on and off for roughly 35 years. He said he has dressed as an American soldier for World War I and World War II re-enactments, as well as a soldier from each side of the Civil War. Iott said he could not recall when he and his son joined the Wiking group but that he was no longer involved.

"Never, in any of my re-enacting of military history, have I meant any disrespect to anyone who served in our military or anyone who has been affected by the tragedy of war, especially the Jewish Community," Iott said in a statement Saturday.
