CNN analyst walks back call for ‘vigilante’ crackdown on Canada trucker blockade amid social media outrage

Juliette Kayyem, who served as assistant secretary of homeland security for intergovernmental affairs under President Barack Obama, condemned the demonstrations in a string of tweets on Thursday as the Ambassador Bridge, which links Ontario with Detroit, remained at a standstill for a fourth day.
Kayyem’s remarks sparked outcry from Twitter users accusing her of advocating for violence and against freedom of speech.
“The convoy protest, applauded by right wing media as a "freedom protest," is an economic and security issue now,” she wrote. “Slash the tires, empty gas tanks, arrest the drivers, and move the trucks.”
She responded to the uproar in a tweet hours later, suggesting that her prior comments had been "misinterpreted".
“Earlier today, I tweeted something that has been used by others to suggest I was promoting vigilantism. I was not,” she wrote on Thursday evening.

They allowed donations to BLM and BLM rioters burned American cities and murdered people. BLM also blocked public roads. The Truckers aren't violent and aren't burning anything. They are using BLM's tactic of blocking roads and democrats are losing their shit over it.

Moynihan was professor at Harvard who was also one of Richard Nixon's trusted, personal advisors on matters of social policy. In a secretly taped conversation on racial aptitudes that took place between Nixon and himself on October 7, 1971, Moynihan joined Nixon in depicting African leaders as (intellectual) children. Later, in the same conversation, he agreed with Nixon that Black people are at an intellectual disadvantage - "...when you get to some of the more, shall we say, some of the more profound, rigid disciplines, basically", as Nixon put it. When asked about this conversation in later years, Moynihan claimed he could not recall it.(!?) (NB: at the time this conversation took place, i.e.1971, Moynihan, although technically speaking, a Democrat, would actually have described himself as a "neo-Conservative."

The largest, loudest, and most politically disruptive action of workers in most of our lives is taking place right now. Like traditional labor movements, it is getting assists from others in the same working class.
In this case, the towing companies don’t want to tow away the big rigs. They have turned down offers to do so.
The movement is also growing, leading not just to the shutdown of Ottawa, but of the bridge on which much of the trade between Canada and the United States is conducted.
Not only is the Left disgusted by it, but it refuses to recognize it is happening.
In the same way that a non-feminist woman is degraded to the status of 'not a real woman', or a racial minority with the wrong politics is accused of being a 'Tom', workers taking political action that isn’t controlled by the Left are deemed not workers at all.
