I was in Bogalusa, Louisiana in 1965. I did not see a white person nail the cut off balls of a black person to the courthouse door, but I saw the result. I was AWOL from the Air Force at the time, so you can write me off as a low life. But, I am here to declare that real justice in America did not exist in 1965. Did Republicans defend the rights of that poor man? Of course not. Did Democrats defend his rights? Of course not. Nigger hating Democrats moved quickly to the Republican party when they found out that the Kennedys were in favor of civil rights. This is history that I witnessed. I did not see a lynching. But I did see balls to the door. I shiver every time that I think of that image. Wouldn't you?

so your theory is that the bigots decided to join the party that voted FOR the civil rights act because they were angry the civil rights act passed?.....and you know this is true because you saw the balls that the bigoted Democrats nailed to the courthouse door?.....
