The family of a pregnant 19-year-old shot in North Minneapolis Tuesday night says she has been released from the hospital, and a toddler and teenager shot in the same incident also have been sent home to recover. Family members tell KARE 11 the toddler still has the bullet lodged in her chest.
The victims' family says a man in a hoodie and fisherman hat appeared from behind a tree across the street before shooting.
"I didn't think nothing of it until he raised his hand and when he raised his hand, I was like, run. And he started shooting," said Teona Franklin, Garner's cousin.
