Transgenders and the issue of public restrooms

So you gonna write or re-write a list of principles concerning the distinction between right and wrong or good and bad behavior......as only you see them....
Aren't you going to ask for input from some Jehovah Witnesses, some Jews, some Buddhists or Catholics or Fundamentalists ?
How about the Muslims or the hundreds of other countrys that have cultures different than yours....they may not quite agree with your views on morality.....

Interesting points. The Catholic church recently surveyed opinions and I bet they're not too happy with the results.

"Most Catholics worldwide disagree with church teachings on divorce, abortion and contraception and are split on whether women and married men should become priests, according to a large new poll released Sunday and commissioned by the U.S. Spanish-language network Univision. On the topic of gay marriage, two-thirds of Catholics polled agree with church leaders.

Overall, however, the poll of more than 12,000 Catholics in 12 countries reveals a church dramatically divided: Between the developing world in Africa and Asia, which hews closely to doctrine on these issues, and Western countries in Europe, North America and parts of Latin America, which strongly support practices that the church teaches are immoral.

The widespread disagreement with Catholic doctrine on abortion and contraception and the hemispheric chasm lay bare the challenge for Pope Francis’s year-old papacy and the unity it has engendered."

women are more likely to encounter a sexual murderer/assaulter in a non-restroom than a restroom where someone is likely to walk in on the perpetrator

my 10 year old granddaughter is learning tae kwon do so that she will be able to protect herself better, although the first thing they teach you is to turn, run and scream...it will give her a leg up on some of those 'freaks' you love to obsess about and maybe save her life one day

I don't get it, we all use public rest rooms on occasion. If I go to one in a restaurant or department store the last thing on my mind is whether or not a pervert is hanging out there. Also, they're employee-monitored so no one can spend hours just hanging out.

I support kids and adults learning martial arts, good for your granddaughter. :)

you seem to have missed my point entirely. just out of curiosity, how many transgenders do you think are likely to go wrong?

as for my children, i would not allow them to use a public restroom alone when they were younger.

The U.S. has approx. 314 million people of which approx. 700,000 are transgender, or 0.0022. Factor in the bad ones, the odds of getting attacked by them are infinitesimal.

Which bathroom should Justin Belieber use?

J-Beebs isn't potty-trained, he uses a bucket.
