Nobody comes close to the mass murders done by Government who cannot be opposed. We have the 2nd for a reason! It keeps Wackadoodle government in check. No, a hunting rifle is not going to stop an F-16. But a hunting rifle held by ground crewmen and their neighbors can keep that F-16 from flying again. It is enough to prevent the worst sorts of Government slaughters that have happened when Lefties went Murderous.

If government missuses an F-16, and we have a free press, so we know it, a crowd of citizens can keep that plane on the ground.

I help my in-laws with that problem sometimes. I use an SKS with 4X scope, 7.62X39 HP. Instead of night scope, I use a remote control light, hog caller, and feed bait.

After Covid shutdown the population has grown exponentially. A few miles away a Toddler was eaten by them. They often eat each other.

Clearly you haven't served in the military. Many if not MOST active duty military would be part of the push back if the government started killing Americans.

We are trying to keep them out of our commercial watermelon operation. We hang a few of the dead hogs on the fence. That seems to repel them for a few months. We have seen herds of over 100 pigs. Our land bumps up to the Sabine river and hogs use the river as their superhighway. They run down the banks and go around fencing.
