Trade Wars Are Easy To Win. Just Ask The Farmers

The HAND-PICKED DEMCORAT LIAR FARMER is FULLACRAP.

He is a WHEAT and SUNFLOWER PRODUCER, and WHEAT EXPORTS ARE UP OVER 5% FROM LAST YEAR, and MEXICO and CANADA are our #1 BUYERS OF SUNFLOWERS, and THERE ARE NO TARIFFS ON EITHER.

SPREAD SOME MORE MADEUP BULLSHIT, LIE-O-CRATS.....

did any of the democrats talk about tariffs during their debate or was it just bashing Obama?
From what I've seen it was about bashing Biden. Front runners always have a target on their backs.

When there is a candidate chosen, there will be plenty of time to bring up trump's incompetence.

Relief won’t recover the markets they’ve lost. The markets that have taken decades to build. I feel really bad for my friends and family in KS, the hog and corn markets are also suffering.
Exactly. I made the point in another thread. Trade is often about much more than numbers and ratios. It's about benefits to this country via defense agreements, etc.

These markets were always about a delicate balance. trump doesn't understand basic business protocols, which is why he's failed at everything.

He's antagonized our allies and trade partners. In the future, these markets might never come back due solely to punitive actions taken against our country.

Once our former partners find another avenue for goods, we'll have to beg to get them back, or skew our numbers further via bargain basement terms.

They have a long list

Many of them still have fields under water, to muddy to plant & the lucky ones got theirs in, but late, so if there is an early frost it was all for not..

I know, Trump is such a bastard for letting that happen......

Trump has no knowledge base for running an economy. There are almost no economists who think tariffs are a good idea. But Trump is not using them for economic reasons, but weapons in political purposes. He is using the pain he is causing Americans to pressure China. China thinks long term. They may do the same thing and more suffering will come our way. China does not have elections to deal with. They can wait Daffy out.

Unprecedented. Tweets/news clips, etc. This moron has created an entire year's worth of election soundbites. For once, I'm looking forward to campaign commercials.
I’m predicting Trump won’t do the debates. He will just do his rallies. He has no interest in expanding his base. He’s hoping to keep the electorate he won last time. I hope it’s not possible, that some have seen what an immoral leader he is, and his policies are disastrous and they will vote for someone else.

The campaign commercials will be good.

ROFL...I give you credit for being consistently incorrect

dont forget US manufacturing has made a great comeback. 500k new jobs under Trump.
last month up 16k

China needs our market much more then we do theirs

I hear that often said...... I use to believe it. Now I am not so sure....

As we stepped out to the TPP that opened yuge doors in south east asia..

You know the silk road doesn't just go to Central Asia, right??

I think they may be able to squeeze a lil out of that, you think so??

What do we have building in our future??

They know where they will be in ten years, we struggle & often fail to even get a very short term budget SO THE GUBMENT CAN PAY IT'S BILLS ETC. That is a real shame............

Those who wanted to know what it would be like to have an incompetent businessman run the govt. got their answer. They took a shot because of his pie in the sky promises, even though they knew he was lying.

Now that he's abandoned every promise he made to those who aren't extremely wealthy, they're gone from his side of the equation.

Hopefully those who refused to vote due to a disdain for Hillary learned their lesson this time around.

I have a feeling turnout will be better than '18, which was record setting.

Let trump refuse to debate. I don't think that works well for him outside of the 30% of the country that supports him.

Can you think of any circumstances under which he would refuse to debate??

I think one simple one off the bat would be yes, one he knew he would lose.......

& is there any doubt what so ever that he would not debate or answer any questions under oath.........:palm:

The mid west farmers are going to lose the markets that took years for them to create, so how long will we have to subsidize these framers?????

Prob not a long time...... They can't stay afloat on it.. It is meant as just enough to keep them w/ trump, not necessarily stay in business...

As someone mentioned earlier, the big bouys will start buying up these defaulting farms for pennies on the dollar & put those handouts to work for them..

I will be a shame if this happens, but then, people have to be careful what they vote for.

Another trump day, another starving farmer

“The Chinese market has a large capacity and the prospect of importing high-quality U.S. agricultural products is bright," state-owned media Xinhua said on Monday. "However, we hope the U.S. will conscientiously implement the consensus reached at the [G-20 summit in Osaka, Japan] between the heads of the two countries, and implement the commitments to create the necessary conditions for cooperation in the agricultural fields between the two countries.”

“This is just another nail in the coffin,” Tyler Stafslien, a North Dakota-based soybean farmer, told Yahoo Finance. “To see this thing only seems to be getting worse rather than better is very concerning, and the American taxpayers may have to foot another round of funding if this keeps up — or we could see a ton of farmers’ loss throughout this nation.”
