Tough times for Desh

LOL, he lacks ability to draw a logical conclusion and see the actual point.....a person (BAC) speaks "unfavorably" of females' appearance in the present, yet can't stand another person (Trump) who has done the same thing in his past. Neither can claim the moral high ground here...it's just not an issue that concerns me when electing a President. Boys will be boys at some or all points of their lives.:)

Your opinion is meaningless brain damaged conservatard. Not a single fuck was given.

LOL, what? Saudi Arabia, Iran and Venezuela have great natural resources. Are they slave or non slave states

You tell me.
Would you actually suggest any if them are freer than the US? Idiot. Furthermore I am clearly refering to economic slavery but keep playing dumb.

By the way, our abundant natural resources far exceed any country youmentioned and are not limited to oil, not even close.

Cool .. I'm just suggesting that you should go fight your battles anyway you choose, and I'll do the same.

.. and, given that you couldn't produce your own comments attacking republicans and Trump about women .. you prove that 'moral high ground' doesn't have shit to do with your comments to me.

Oh my goodness, I have stated (guess it was elsewhere) that I didn't care for what he had said, just as I don't care for your physically-related comments toward women. I said I've heard that type of language all my life from guys like you and Trump. Maybe more so because (as I mentioned elsewhere) I was a bartender and cocktail waitress for so many years, especially when I worked at the Playboy Club in Miami back in the early 70's. Some guys grow out of it, some don't. I also said I just don't use years-old bad language as a barometer when selecting a President. Boys will be boys and lots of "liberated" women speak crudely of men as well. I've never once called any person here a name of any kind. My diatribes are instead directed at descriptions of the behavior and actions of people. All people including myself, are very redeemable from past transgressions.

What would freedom look like? The gov't giving us an allowance and none of us having to work?

Pissing in the wind. It is all I could think of while I read your comments.

Let's review .. you said nothing about the character assassination of Michelle Obama to those on your own side of the political fence .. although you undoubtedly heard them. You admonished no one.

Yet here you are talking to me as if you stand on some imaginary moral high ground. Dude, you're standing in a ditch .. of your own making.

I have great respect and regard for women .. and 8 years of comments on this site that demonstrates that. But this is politics and I'm playing by the same rules that republicans play by.

Do me a favor and please stop whining to me about YOUR own hypocrisy. What you're posting to me has absolutely nothing to do with your sense of decency or anything at all to do with women.

What you're posting is just pure hypocritical politics.

I applaud your civility, not your politics.

Well then, a lot of people were happy to leave their perceived slavery and gain that perceived freedom.

A. Slavery was never abolished in this country.

Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States - 13th Amendment

B. Perceived freedom.

African Americans have been in this country for over 400 years .. yet only been relatively free for 51 years.

You're probably older than blacks have had any modicum of freedom in this country.

400 years .. only relatively free for 51 years.

1) Michelle and Barry both hate America. I don't care much for their character. I don't have the time to read every single thread and post here. I only got involved with the school lunch nonsense. If people bashed her for being a woman or called her names, that's wrong. If people bashed her behavior and actions which are a reflection of her character, that's fair game.
2) My whole point in my discussion with you is that I am nottaking a moral high ground. I'm not the one who disparaged anybody with a gender-based description, that was you.
3) If you enjoy playing by the Republican "rules" (thereby actually applauding my politics since I am a Republican)....fine....then you've no reason to complain about the very people you claim you want to emulate...that's hypocrisy.

It's taken a long time, too long I agree. The whole process began a lonnnnnng time ago.
A very brief history of the long walk towards freedom (I'm sure you're already familiar with...but, this would be for maybe some 'hidden' non-posters)

In 1868 Ulysses S. Grant had the Radicals in control of Congress. Republicans all across the South formed local clubs called Union Leagues that effectively mobilized the voters, discussed issues, and when necessary fought off Ku Klux Klan (KKK) attacks. Thousands died on both sides. Grant supported radical reconstruction programs in the South, the 14th Amendment, and equal civil and voting rights for the 'freedmen'. Republicans were forever on the defensive, verbally and physically from especially the southern Democrats.

Blacks generally identified with the GOP until the 1930s. Every African American who served in the U.S. House of Representatives before 1935, and all of the African Americans who served in the U.S. Senate before 1979, were Republicans. Frederick Douglass after the Civil War and Booker T. Washington in the early 20th century were prominent Republican spokesmen. From its inception in 1854 to 1964, when Senate Republicans pushed hard for passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 against a filibuster by Senate Democrats, the GOP had a reputation for supporting blacks and minorities. And now, well we've had an African American President just finish 2 terms.

Are there still true racists still around who would maintain the barbaric pathetic practices of separate bathrooms, water fountains, restaurants and back of the bus mentalities? Of course...but so few they aren't worth the ink on the paper or the time of day to pay them any attention.

As one who makes a parasitical living I imagine you really don't know therefore you are incapable of understanding.
