It is always soooo touching when Billionaire owners give so much in times of need. The very same teams that give $50k signing bonuses to 42nd round draft choices are ponying up big time for the tornado victims. $25k from the Rams and $35k from the Chiefs.
Of course both donations hit the press....
I am seriously pissed, especially at my Chiefs. Hunt rakes in millions each year from the support of KC and its fans. Joplin was a poor city prior to the devastation. Clark Hunt likely spent more on jet fuel over this past weekend. When this hits so close to home, you pony the f up.
100k acres in Missouri flooded... nothing.... tornado ravages Joplin and the two teams provide a whopping $60k???
