You and I know that had the victim been black and the perpetrators whites, there wouldn't have to be an investigation about a hate crime. It would have ben automatic.

One major double standard can be seen in this situation. In this case, the victim was white and the perpetrators were black. Despite anti white statements being made by the perpetrators, an investigation of whether or not it's a hate crime has to be done. Had the races been reversed, that's all that would have been needed for people like you to automatically call it a hate crime with nowhere near the evidence in this situation that had to be investigated first.

It's being treated as a hate crime after an investigation. Has the races been reversed, it would have automatically been called a hate crime even when nowhere near the evidence was available.

I wish you hypocrites would stop practicing the double standard you live by. In Charleston, there weren't riots because people knew how things would pan out and they are. In Ferguson, the thugs continued to riot despite knowing the truth about Michael Brown.
