That's not true. Even Republican states have Democrat run pockets in them. You are trying to get out of the cause by dilution using a continuum fallacy. It's like lumping the country into regions and then pointing out some local isolated flaw within the region as applying to the whole. The listed cities in the OP are almost exclusively Democrat run and have been for quite a while. There are exceptions in that, of course, but the long view is they are essentially Democrat run cities with high Black populations. That's a far better start on a cause than claiming it's because Republicans run the state.

It's not much of question.

Systemic and deliberate repression. Ghettoizing and flooding the zone with drugs and guns. And we are not talking about by the mob. We are talking about government agencies doing this.

They created syndicate and gangs and hierarchies to get the drugs and weapons and keep them moving into the communities.

And then you have Southern States piling in on top of that and instead of trying to make it better, making it worse.

I said the GOP States have Dem pockets in them. That WAS MY point.

I also said they do worse in Red States then they do in Blue States. They tend to rank worse.

No, they tend to better. Democrat states tend to do worse and that tendency is usually hidden because those states started out with big economic and social advantages that over long-term Democrat control were whittled away or destroyed.
