Former Vice President Joe Biden now backs President Trump’s restrictions on travel from China amid the global coronavirus pandemic, his campaign said Friday.

Biden’s deputy campaign manager Kate Bedingfield told CNN Friday that the former vice president “supports travel bans that are guided by medical experts, advocated by public health officials and backed by a full strategy.”

“Science supported this ban, therefore he did too,” she told the outlet.

Its about 2 1/2 months too late. How about an apology for calling Trump "xenophobic" for the Chinese travel ban.:rolleyes:
 
The Dems are so bloody predictable sadly, they'll pull the race card at a the drop of a hat. However I think even they are beginning to realise that it doesn't work anymore. The Chinese Virus is a case in point, this is not directed at Chinese in general but the evil bastards in the Politburo and the chief gangster Xi Jinping. They've allowed the wet markets to reopen in the aftermath of the SARS epidemic, there will be a reckoning in the near future for that! Meanwhile the bastards are sinking Vietnamese fishing boats near the Paracel Islands!! You'll never ever get one of the liberals on here to condemn that behaviour.

Biden has since accused Trump of xenophobia on Twitter. And in a mid-March press conference, he lambasted Trump's labeling of coronavirus a "foreign" virus, saying the United States should not "panic or fall back on xenophobia. Labeling Covid-19 a foreign virus does not displace accountability for the misjudgments that have been taken thus far by the Trump administration."
Bedingfield said Biden's "reference to xenophobia was about Trump's long record of scapegoating others at a time when the virus was emerging from China," and that it was not a reference to the travel ban.


Nothing to do with the travel ban.
