Today's the big day - CK IS BACK!

Let me just give you a few 100% truthful facts to start off the new year, 2012.

1) Damocles is still a douchebag who bans members
2) Beefy is still a fat out of work loser
3) Trolls are to JPP like stars in the sky
4) Fake ex-military posters are still fake (looking at u Marine Reserve Bullshitter!)
5) Star Wars > Star Trek
6) Very few cool posters on here, so i'll give a shoutout to my boy Grind.

Star Trek is way better than Star Wars. It influenced modern society in so many ways: talking computers, portable communications devices, laser weapons, acceptance of mixed-race relationships. NASA even named a shuttle "Enterprise".

Consider yourself pwned, CK.
 
I love when Trekies try to argue that their technology influenced modern technology. I'm currently on Season Two, having never watched anything of the Originals except the movies. Its good, but Next Generation is better.

#5 is probably the only thing I have ever agreed with Canadian Child on. Star Wars PWNS Star Trek on entertainment value alone. Also, NASA may have the Enterprise, but the Cold War was won with Star Wars.

The movies weren't "the originals" 3D. And if you've never seen the original series, then you can't really comment on the entertainment value of it. Stop being such a fag.

You're missing perspective. If next generation was "better" it was because of what came before. Prior to Star Trek there had never been a forward looking science fiction program in the public media EVER. Give credit where it's due.

You may think Elivs Presley is retro and dated but if it wasn't for him there would have never been a Seattle scene and you'd be listening to Hank Wiliams, Jr and Dolly Parton.
