Today is the anniversary of the My Lai massacre

very good, thanks..i was wondering about the natural resources.
Historical enmity between China and Vietnam is noted

If you recall the Boat People they were almost exclusively ethnic Chinese. However the fact is that the Chinese run most of the businesses, as they do throughout South East Asia. There is an old saying; the Vietnamese plant the rice, The Cambodians watch the rice grow, and the Lao listen to the rice growing.

It's the moron I've been seeing all along.
But he's excused
It's an IQ thing

Sailor is not a moron. Neither are you. Like you he's passionate about his beliefs. But the pointless and childish name calling (by slurring gay ppl) is crap.

I have two-thirds of the RWers here on ignore for that reason. They're incapable of discussing without using racial and sexual slurs.

Come on now Moon. I already know you do not do shit for the Palestinians. It is quite obvious by everyone of your posts you have never left your front yard or your little town. What I want to know, clearly and concisely, is what you meant
by this: "Don't you have a Child Concern number to call ?" Obviously more than what you trying to push it off too now as you actually changed your post saying it. Reach down, find whatever is left of your raisenette sized testicles and explain that.

The spitting myth has been debunked numerous times. It's interesting that it only became a popular meme when the Gulf War I began. You're right about the "cottage industry." This is why, beginning with Gulf War I, the military has clamped down on live reporting and has heavily censored reporters who are allowed to accompany troops. My main recollection of watching the coverage of GW I on CNN was tons of footage about the armaments being used, occasional distant footage of aerial bombardments, Israel- and Saudi-based reporters cowering when Scuds were incoming -- but no gritty realistic in-your-face real life warfare footage like we saw on TV every night during the VN War. They learned their lesson that allowing the ppl back home to see what war is really like is going to make war really unpopular.

A pleasure reading a well-written, insightful, and informed response.

You would be actually amazed at how bloody rare that is on jpp.com!

Calley's convictions brought it home for many Americans. I knew many gung-ho pro-war Americans who after Mai Lai just threw up their hands and abandoned all support for the lost war.
There are still some retarded neanderthals like TD who will defend what Calley did.

You ' tourist ' types seem easily duped into thinking that the Vietnamese have forgiven us. It isn't so.
There's just no point for them to stick it back to us at this point in time.
