IMO, you would have one-upped him by simply coming on and simply handing respect to the dead. Instead you absolutely reacted exactly as he expected and immediately determined that "not patriot" meant you (and all others you immediately included in your "we").

Basically. There is no reason to just give anybody what they expect because you are upset about what they may or may not think about you. If you believe yourself to be a patriot then simply come on and behave like a patriot. Answer the call to show respect or not, but the need to defend yourself against "accusations" that weren't even made actually had you insisting that you couldn't possibly have ever been considered a patriot by the OP. I'm good either way.

I posted a link-and stupid old frog came out and put herself in the crosshairs of the spaghetti throwing proving our spaghetti was right on the money (I also volunteered IP addy's to show their behind the scenes activity to no avail)---But old ancient ass likes to play the harridan shrew cuz she thinks her self-righteous indignation is proof of her innocence.
