To Protest Hiring of Nonunion Help, Union Hires Nonunion Pickets

it is typical of both onceler and nigel to think this way...onceler not as bad as nigel...but its bad for others, good for them

or in this case, no big deal as nigel put it, had this been about right wing people, he would have been bitching about it just like he did about astroturfing in the link i provided

Think what way? I'm curious regarding your interpretation of the way I'm thinking.

And what if this had been about right-wing people? Would you have posted it? (hint: you wouldn't have. Just sayin')

more lies, when all else fails onceler resorts to lies about his opponents

too bad your hypocrisy is on full display, quite embarrassing really

the article also mentions righties....onceler fail

You misunderstand, Oncelor. Yurt isn't commenting one way or the other. He's just saying that left-wing protesters are paid shills. That's all.

Right-o. I mean, it's not as though you singled out left-wing protesters as paid shills or anything.

stating a fact really chaps your hide doesn't it...

i brought it up for only one reason, to show your hypocrisy...i correctly pointed out their status, there was no outrage...you lied

keep up the lies, you and onceler make fine bed buddies

Nah, I don't agree with Mott. I just think it's pretty funny that you demanded that he recant his comment. Who the fuck are you?

On substance, I don't think the subject is even worth commenting on. Unions hire non-union people to picket. Who gives a fuck? Is the Picketers' Local 432 pissed off about it or something?

Wait, what'd you say? There is no picketers' union? Then why the fuck are we talking about this?

1) Who gives a fuck? They are PROTESTING a company that uses NON UNION workers using NON UNION members to do the protesting.

2) Why aren't they paying those protestors a living wage?

it doesn't matter SF...its a non issue because it paints the unions as jerks and hypocrites....oh noze, nigel can chalk up another hypocrite mark for dear ol' yurt

We're not talking about striking workers here, Damo. You seem to be particularly confused on that point.
I honestly don't care what "we" are talking about. If the union was strong they'd have their members out picketing, they wouldn't have to hire scabs to replace them. The fact that they can't get enough of them out there to make a strong showing and need to fill in with paid picketers is just sad.

It makes me laugh a bit, shake my head, then laugh a bit more. More of a chuckle really, and regardless it is very much a bad PR move. It really does hand a sense of moral authority over to the business itself.

this is akin to someone telling you to buy only american cars while they run out and purchase a toyota

but of course nigel can't be honest and accept the hypocrisy and idiocy of this move by the unions, he has to instead whine about people calling out hypocrisy, as if they makes the actual hypocrisy go away....
