To Hell With Charlie Kirk

Nothing “logical” about life after death.
Thanks for tacitly agreeing with me that there does appear to be a transcendent reality beyond the physical plane of quarks, leptons, and bosons. And that's just based on the immaterial, but yet very tangible reality of mathematics and physical laws.

Just agreeing that there is some evidence of a transcendent reality is a huge move beyond a strict physical materialist conception of reality.

As for spiritual liberation of the soul, I said it depends if one thinks Jesus, Siddhartha Buddha, and the avatars of Hinduism are reliable authorities on the possibility of spiritual liberation to a transcendent reality.

We do know that as far back as the Paleolithic cave paintings of Europe, archaic humans seemed to be perceiving an abstract transcendental spiritual reality beyond this physical plane. As far as we know, we are the only species in the history of the Earth to have acquired that perception, and there is realistically no tangible reason from evolutionary biology and Darwinian principles why we should need that type of abstract perception.

I heard that his "wife" is actually trans.
Oh, boy, that was good work. Maybe she and Kirk were like the Fallwells- you remember Jerry Jr. liked to sit in the corner and jerk off while the Mrs. got it on with the pool boy! "Family Values Christians" amirite?

  • Becki Falwell revealed she used to make sex tapes with her ex-lover, Giancarlo Granda, a former Miami pool boy
  • She also said he once pressured her into having sex in her daughter's bed
  • Granda denies her version of events, and says his story will be revealed in an upcoming book and Hulu documentary

Anyone seen that documentary?

More dirt on the Fallwells:

"'I had a big Canon camera. A couple of times I put it on the dresser and Giancarlo agreed to it,' Becki, 54, told Vanity Fair, alleging her husband did not know she and Granda, 30, had filmed them.

Jerry's time as president of Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, came to an end last year after Granda's revelations about the years-long affair emerged."

"Jerry enjoyed watching from the corner of the room."

"Over the next six years, Granda claimed he joined the Falwells "multiple times per year" at hotels in Miami and New York as well as their home in Virginia, and would have sex with Becki while "Jerry enjoyed watching from the corner of the room."

Who told you that? Preacher man?

Jesus never taught that, so someone else made it up.
No. I took a lot of religions of the world classes in college plus read a few other mind-expanding books. IMO, the way to understand the spiritual world is to look at all the world's religions, past and present, and see where they are alike.

Jesus said a lot of interesting things but, agreed, his view was a Jewish view from 2000 years ago.

Regardless of the image of Hell, it’s still a concocted concept. There is no credible evidence that either a Heaven or Hell or life after death exists. All made up.
Your hatred of Christians is interesting. It's expected from anarchist 20something white males, but the level of hatred in someone over 35 is odd.

Becki is hot. :)

Did they swing with the Trumps?

Nope, no hatred of Christians. Just in amazement how so many can buy into that theology. It is a matter of indoctrination since childhood, though. Gradually, we see rational people moving away from it.

Nothing “logical” about life after death.
We don't know enough about death to make any sweeping definitive conclusions.

There is nothing logical about preferring vanilla over chocolate either.

Our quarks and electrons do not cease to exist at death. In some sense they are immortal. We simply don't know enough about consciousness/the soul/atman/whatever-you-want-to-call-it to make any sweeping and definitive statements about what happens to it.

You say to hell with Charlie Kirk and I say to Heaven with Charlie Kirk. That would leave those going to hell like yourself
and every other anti Christian, anti life pieces of garbage like yourself.

You and I can agree to disagree about your emotions regarding Christian beliefs. Agreed religion, like other social norms, are tied to childhood indoctrination. It's called "socialization". Militant atheists are often socialized online just like Tyler Robinson....thanks to Al Gore. LOL

A statistic you ignored previously was that only 25% of Christians take the Bible literally. Kinda punches a hole in the militant atheist POV. LOL

The majority of Christians (58%) say the Bible is the inspired word of God but not everything in it is to be taken literally, while 25% say it should be interpreted literally and 16% say it is an ancient book of fables.

On the other hand, the rapid growth of Christianity in Asia and Africa suggests it is the message and ethos of Christianity that is appealing enough to a lot of people to displace long-standing indigenous Asian and African belief systems.

I don't know anyone except fire-and-brimstone fundamentalists, Pentecostals, and militant atheists who universally practice strict biblical literalism.

We know all about death.
Vanilla v chocolate is a choice made from experience.
There is no evidence of life after death. Of the multiple billions of people who have died before us, not one has returned to tell us about it.

25% is a significant number for an absurd belief. But, do the other 75% believe in virgin birth, the Trinity, resurrection and eternal life? Equally as absurd.

58% probably can’t even define what “inspired word of god” means. Can you?

We know mortal death.
...and genes.
Correct. Why would they? Kindergarteners may ask why grownups never return to school except as teachers.
