By credible evidence, you mean empirical material evidence. However, knowledge is not limited to just empirical data and sense perception, as has been discussed for two thousand years in Western philosophy and logic.
It depends if one thinks Jesus, Siddhartha Buddha, and the avatars of Hinduism are reliable authorities on the possibility of spiritual liberation to a transcendent reality.
I maintain that by logical inference, the case can be made for a transcendent reality that exists beyond the material plane of quarks, leptons, and bosons. Mathematical truths, physical laws of nature, and some of the rules of logic have no material substance but seem to have an independent existence in some transcendent or Platonic reality.
In other words, strict physical materialism fails as a complete description of ultimate reality, at least for me.
