BS. If members of Congress do not follow the will of the people, the people are free to vote them out. What is an example of the will of the people Congress has not followed? Remember, members do not represent the nation but the members of their district. The will of the people in one district is not the will in other districts.

Do you know how your House or Senate rep voted on any single issue? If not, you have no clue whether they represent you or not. So, it is the fault of the voter, not the rep, if they don't represent us. How are they supposed to know your will? Have you written them?

The "oligarchy" is simply hyperbole by people who think they have no influence and are victims of others. We have many more rights and power than the early republic.
