It is not the status quo to want to increase NIH funding rather than cut it, or the arts, or EPA etc.
With Democrat leadership we had a good deal of peace, and we could have enjoyed a dividend, a much needed
one. Bush saw to it that was squandered. I don't want tax policy by piecemeal like the TRA of 1986.
I want taxes increased on the wealthy, mostly by increasing capital gains. That won't happen by compromise,
that will happen by enough people agreeing with me to jam it down the throats of the powerful rich and their
bloodsucking bitch lobbyists. Fuck compromise. Meanwhile, the real government works well. Better than most believe, because
most don't know shit, don't know any hard working civil service employees like at NRL, or justice or state or DoD,
etc like I do. The deep state, if that's what you'd like to call it IS WHAT WORKS WELL, not the dog and pony
show that you hate based upon no personal information whatsoever except what stupid right wing shit media or
Russobots tell you to think about it.
 
Corker was pro Trump during the election. He was even making pro Trump comments up to several months ago saying he and Trump agreed on the same things.

So who is going to replace him in Tennessee? Many are frustrated with Congress and it's easy to sound good and say you'll be different on the campaign trail but the reality is you have to be elected and Tennessee is not Alabama where a Roy Moore can get win so who's going to replace him and do anything different?
