So just to be clear, this thing with the IRS doesn't need to be investigated by a special prosecutor? They can adequately do the job in house? Does NO ONE remember when Nixon used the IRS to go after his enemies? Is President Obama ABOVE all that?

It may need a sp in the future.....at least if its done in the House, it will be made public....an sp would not release anything to the public.

A couple of points. First, even if special counsel is appointed (and Holder would make the appointment), the investigation is still "in house" in that it is conducted within the DOJ. Second, given that the investigation will be conducted within the DOJ regardless, what's the point of appointing someone as special counsel in the absence of grounds for recusal of the AG? Third, no, Obama is not ABOVE all that, but there is no evidence to suggest that the targeting of Tea Party groups was directed from the White House so it's probably premature to invoke Nixon.

I would venture to say most board members are too young to remember Nixon. So unless they read up on it, they probably have no idea what you are referring to.
 
Super freak I don't send hate mail. And you'd be surprised how many o them answer you. I have gotten answers from ny times reporters and huffpo reporters and a list bloggers. A ny times reporter answered me very defensively when I sent him an email about his story on tea party protests and compared it to their dismal coverage of peace protests that were 50 times the size. If you email a reporter about a storyi think you will be surprised at how many respond though I highly doubt they respond to hate mail. Rubin is the only one who responded with an actual attack on liberals which was hilarious.
