There's no waste with the military budget. If anything, Trump and congress will help further raise the
military budget to help make our military stronger than ever by passing his Big Beautiful Bill. By far,
the most important aspect of that Bill is in giving our military complex all the funds it needs to keep
America stronger and safer than ever as we enter an ever increasing move toward an outright nuclear
Armageddon.

Once again, I agree with Sowell. The rules are that if someone asks for asylum they are granted a process to ask for that asylum. That process involves showing up for check ins. It is not part of the rules that they can be snatched when checking in and deported without due process.

The Capitol is a federal building. Either surrounding federal buildings is bad or it isn't bad. Sowell clearly states that ideology is not a standard that can be used to declare it good or bad. If it is bad then you have to accept that Jan 6 was just as bad if not worse than LA is today. If you don't accept that Jan 6 was bad than you are disagreeing with Sowell's thesis.
Jan 6th has been beat to death. Yes of course it was lawless but many people were over charged for political purposes. Others were murdered for trespassing. Other suspicious criminal activities died out without any leads. I would love to see the same effort put into identifying and prosecuting this recent gang of vermin as was done then.
