romney is even more corporate than obama :)

I do think that we will be reaching out to conservatives but not really on econommic stuff.

Anyway lets not pretend the GOP was ever going to win another presidential election without the populist transformation brought by trump.

Anyone would have defeated Crooked Hillary.
 
Other than Carson (because he's certifiable), the other candidates all win. Especially Kasich and Rubio, but even, Cruz or Walker. Oh, yeah, have to eliminate Christie, now, because his scandals would have helped to nullify hers.
 
You're talking about a list of people who would have had unfavorables way below hers. On top of that, they would have unified the GOP, and not drawn forth the voters who showed-up to vote against Douchebag Donald (these two factors handed Crooked Hillary the popular vote). Trimming off some of the rust belt blue collar workers votes would not have come close to negating the gains Candidate X would have enjoyed over Trump.

You run into the same problem clinton does. You have a lot of votes in all the wrong places.

Consider trumps map. Barely won rust belt and texas arizona utah and other states were won by less percentages. By your own admission the blue collar would not have turned out but 2 republicans would. So your lead in texas would have been higher but you lose PA MI which were won with razor thin margins.

Which means say hello to president hillary.

I would expect our residnet leftists to miss an analysis based on the electoral college and not PV but you know better.

Not only do you win WI, MI, PA, against Crooked Hillary, but you don't piss away NH or cause your Senate candidate there to lose. Additionally, you probably also steal back VA, and don't risk putting NC in play.

again location of voters. The voter gains would not have come in PA MI and WI. Only someone who ran on the positions that trump did could have won there.

As I recall the NH candidate endrosed trump didnt endorse him endorsed him something like 5 times. She pissed off both sides and caused her own loss.

Hardly anyone would have shown-up to vote for Crooked Hillary against a serious candidate. Instead, Douchebag Donald managed to keep the race close. Hell, it doesn't look like RCP will officially award him Michigan until the Electors cast their votes.
