So he bullies them into letting him testify, and promptly perjures himself. Then appeals his convictions for both the current charges and for perjury on the basis of "ineffective counsel." What a great plan! lol

Much was made over the fact over half of the current jurors said they couldn’t be fair and impartial. While this is a historic trial and the jurors are certain to make a bit of cash writing about it, it’s also a trial that would keep people away from their families and jobs for months. It’s no surprise that most don’t want to be there.

How many ppl can afford to take six weeks off w/o pay? Not all employers will cover the missed time, esp. if you are a PT workers. Plus who wants to be stalked the rest of their lives by enraged MAGATs?

I made an absolute shit show out of my voir dire a few years back. The judge came in telling jokes, so I followed suit. I had 200 potential jurors rolling on the floor.
The final nail was when I told the defense attorney that her alcoholic client was probably guilty.
It's pretty easy to get out of jury duty. What's going to happen here is what happened in the Zimmerman trial. One juror lied to get on the jury, and let him off.

Even if took the perjury threat away (and he would definitely perjure himself) he really cannot testify as then the Prosecutor is allowed to bring in all sorts of evidence they currently cannot, that would speak to his credibility. They could bring up his recent fraud finding by the NY AG and his loss to E Jean in ways that go much deeper than what this judge will now allow.
So while i hope, beyond hope, he does testify, the betting money is greatly in favor of him not.
Stalling seems to be their strategy for a first line of attack.
