Obama tried again in 2013 but his oppressive authoritarian nanny state bill failed.

Note that only after Obama's bill failed the first time did they add the mental health provision but it was too little too late. The Democrats have fucked themselves by focusing on banning guns instead of supporting better mental health for all Americans.

All of the notorious mass shooters are mentally ill. The Democrat's solution? Ban guns. It's stupid.
