its been recycled since the start of shit wars like Vietnam and Afghanistan to try and silence any question of why the US went to war and the decision making of the Administration.

NeoCon's want constant endless wars. They have a long list of countries they want the US to invade and go to war with. and trump has gone full Neocon talking about this like its a fun adventure and musing on which country he might attack next.

the only surprise in this for me was how much of Trumps base were secretly NeoCon. I believed they were mostly isolationist, America first, no foreign war types, about half of his base are full NeoCon. almost 100% of the magats on this forum are full Neocon.

I believe they did and Trump was trying to do something about it. Let’s be clear. I don’t much give a shit whether Iran gets a nuke. N Korea either. I don’t anyone should dictate how a country wants to protect itself. The more nukes the better in my book.

Due to the intricacies of refining nuclear material, even after an explosion, microscopic "fingerprints" in the fallout and debris that can be traced back to a specific mine, reactor, or enrichment facility. The US would know it came from a Iranian facility.

Neither our scientists nor their leaders are stupid. Iran knows the US reaction of a nuclear attack on us or our allies. They really would be obliterated. The entire reason to have nukes is defensive. To use them offensively is, literally, MAD.

A forensics capability that can trace material to the originating reactor or enrichment facility could discourage state cooperation with terrorist elements and encourage better security for nuclear weapon usable materials. In addition, most terrorist organizations will not have members skilled in all aspects of handling nuclear weapons or building an improvised nuclear device.
