I know lots of you leftists dislike me and maybe with good reason but it doesn't really matter. I am starting this thread to encourage you leftists to think about what this loss really means. You have wasted 9 years trying to politically destroy and literally kill someone who just wiped the floor with your sorry asses.

I suspect all of you are mad as hell at those of us who voted for trump. You think trump won because we're all stupid and misogynistic, racist, homophonic, yadda yadda yadda, and maybe thats true but that's not why trump wiped the floor with you.

In all sincerity I challenge you dimwitted fools to look inward for the cause of your epic failure. I realize that is unlikely because it's hard to accept you might be the cause of your own undoing but you should doing anyway. I doubt it will ever happen. People who think they are morally superior to others rarely do.

I wish you all the best as you endeavor recoup from this embarrassment but I won't be any less rotten to you because you deserve everything you get. It's called karma and karmas a Hillary Clinton isn't it?
 
That's true of every election where a party loses as decisively as Democrats lost yesterday.

Generally - unless they decide to not accept the results completely - a party goes back to the drawing board, realizes that they went too far in one direction & adjusts to try to appeal to more voters.

The Dems will have a long time out of power to soul search & come to terms w/ what happened. They'll have to adapt or they'll lose again.
 
Wait a minute, “literally kill?” Democrats have been trying to “literally kill” Trump? And I wouldn’t call holding Trump accountable to the law as trying to destroy him, there was a time Americans believed no one was above the law

Don’t fret about Democrats, if Trump repeats himself, as he will, the Democrats will win back Congress in 2026, and this election will flush many of the old guard who have directed the Party for the last for years

Do you actually think that Trump will unite the country? That he won’t continue to divide Americans with his rhetoric and actions? His whole schtick has always been based upon melodrama, good guys/bad guys, and he ain’t stopping now

And you got to shake the martyr complex, this is Internet forum, not a very developed one, not serious enough to hold grudges or hate another, life is too short for that

Two years, if history repeats itself, and with Trump it will, the Democrats will win back control of Congress in 2026

That's inevitable. When a party wins like this, they feel like they'll rule forever. But most of the electorate isn't partisan, and things usually move back the other way.
