Iran reversed course on reopening the Strait of Hormuz Saturday, warning that it would continue to block transit as long as the U.S. blockade of Iranian ports remained in effect

Starting this war was insane.
Tearing up Obama's deal in Pigshit's first term was also insane.

Nevertheless, both things DID happen,
and now,
attempting that threatened war of annihilation
could very well be our only way out.

Restrained measures are not going to open that strait.

The destruction that Pigshit threatened may probably be beyond our capabilities, actually,
but who has a more realistic idea?

We have already virtually disarmed ourselves trying. We can kill a whole lotta civilians, but we can't really stop an insurgent army.

Today tyrant Trump said there were "very good conversations going on" with Iran.

He described Iran as acting "a little cute as they have for 47 years".

Trump said Iranian leaders wanted to close the Strait of Hormuz, but the US won't let them "blackmail us".

He said the US was taking a tough stand.

The delusional dictator added there would be "some information by the end of the day" on Iran, but did not elaborate further.

Who could believe this monster's words?

Iran has shown it can take a body blow and continue to stand.

At this point Trump has to either commit us to a open ended war, or he needs some face-saving off ramp.

I think Trump would cut and run if the Iranians just promised not to build nuclear weapons. But that is a huge step down from the Obama approach, because Obama actually had inspectors in Iran to verify that nuclear weaponization did not occur.

That happened and was a factor, but we told the world that the American blockade had to be abandoned or we would act accordingly. Tyrant Trump lied to you, and to everyone.

Our conditions for ships to exit the strait safely are the same as before, but now the American pirates say they will stop any ship they deem to be helping Iran, by force.

The oil disruption will only grow worse every day that the strait remains closed.
