This is why germany and france are upset the US is leaving the Paris agreement.

I'd like to take better care of the environment - but to argue that any action we take at this point will affect global temperatures is completely ignorant of the science. There are a LOT of great reasons to switch to both domestic sources and alternatives - including both national security and pollution. But "stopping climate change?"

It's a bogus argument. Read the science on it. Even AGW scientists say that if the world went cold turkey on emissions, it would take centuries for any discernible change.

I don't know the science, but the argument isn't to stop climate change, but to mitigate our role in the problem. The Paris Accord was a flexible agreement whereby every nation set its own goals. And if every nation polluted like the United States, the world as we know it would have a very short life span.

People get really mad in every country in the world, including our own when our taxpayer-funded government reduces or refuses handouts. How incredibly ironic. People just lovvvvvvve them some U.S.A. as long as our working class pays their bills. We seem to be only as wonderful and beloved as our cash flow. How superficial. We are then mocked, hated and given the global finger. It's good to see this type of response which only serves to further justify our position of taking care of our own and not submitting to a con job. They've shown their true colors. Loving someone only for their money is not love............or respect. It's better to be truly hated, than falsely loved.

They had 2030 on the Wikipedia page this past week - but honestly, 2100 is even worse. How can people possibly think that a 40% reduction in emissions 80+ years from now will make ANY difference whatsoever?

Again - most who study this have concluded that even if we went cold turkey, TODAY, it would take centuries before there was any difference.

You'd have to review the papers. But a reduction is a reduction versus a 2,3 or 4 degree rise.
