I wholeheartedly predict that Tbird will NOT be cheering if the Q3 GDP number is "this high" (~3%).

I also predict that Tbird will then push his "cheering" off to Q4. "Wait and see what Q4 brings", Tbird will say.

I also predict that Tbird will NOT be cheering if the Q4 GDP number is also "this high" (~3%).

I realize that this is a VERY easy prediction, but still... I wish to hold Tbird to his word.

IF there is good news AFTER Trumps tariffs hit and work through the supply chain then I will cheer but with as high as Trumps tariffs are I don't see how there could be.
Again you have to give the tariffs time to work through the supply chain and see their effect.

Give it time to take effect. a lot of the cuts don't take effect till after the mid terms because the Republicans know they will be hurting a lot of the lower income workers a lot of them are their MAGA followers and they want to get re-elected and if they put the cuts in effect before the mid terms and the low income MAGA got hurt they would not be re-elected.
The BBB and Trumps tariffs will take time to see what harm they will do, give it time.

IF and that is a big IF after Trump finally does put his tariffs on and prices don't go up I will come on here and say I was wrong how about you do the same IF prices do go up , more then just the amount of inflation. ( I will be nice and give you that much. )
As I said we have to wait a couple of months or more to see it after the tariffs work through the supply chain if prices go up.
Until then you Magas can keep making fools of yourselves by cheering .
