This is the state of the GOP

Seig heil = hail victory. Hmm. Coincidence? I think not.

False equivalence fallacy. You are trying to see things that aren't there. Some insignificant far-Right wingnut says something and you conflate it into not only being a Nazism, but then smear everyone in the Republican party with it.

Whatever. Sieg heil translates as hail victory. Sorry you don't like it, or that some on your side likes to use Nazi catch words. Deal with it, Cindy.

PS -- You just did what you wrongfully accused me of doing -- painting with an extra wide paint brush. See bolded, above. All I did was translate. That bothers you, doesn't it?

So? You conflated a statement by a nobody neo-Nazi and his insignificant group into a smear that encompasses the entirety of the Republican party, which isn't even associated with the neo-Nazi group. That's what bothers me. It is a false equivalence used as a political smear.

It's the equivalent of say, me, taking this posting by BLM Chicago:

And saying it represents the opinion, thinking, and views of the Democrat party as a whole.

Democrats: The Republicans are terrible- because they cannot elect a credible and morally responsible speaker.

:thinking:The only difference between MALEVOLENT Gym Jordan and Mike Johnson, is Mike Johnson smiles, combs his hair, doesn't buy his clip on ties at the dollar store, wears a jacket, and brushes his teeth.

Because he is just as much an election denier, 1/6 conspirator, voted against recognizing Joe Biden as president in the House, is an ANTI-DEMOCRACY proponent, and is an autocracy activist as Gym Jordan.

Next!

You SORRY son-of a bitches just cannot get out of your own way! :palm:

With Mike Johnson a government shut down is pretty much assured.

That is the sin McCarthy made that meant, in Trump's mind, he had to go.

McCarthy was always trying to balance the demands of the Donors, he relies on to fund many republi'cans' campaigns in vulnerable districts and Trumps demands to do everything to drive the country into recession, depression or despair in a belief the voters will then want a change of government. Just as Trump believes the despair created by covid cost him the election.

McCarthy first defied Trump by getting the debt ceiling passed avoiding that US and world wide disaster that could have lead to recession or even depression, and they he kept the gv't from shutting down. And that is because rich donors and corporations will not support any of those profit killing things just to get Trump back in to power. So McCarthy bowed to the donors.

There is no risk of that with Mike Johnson. He will jump at shutting down the gov't, consequences be damned.

Wrong. This is my original post. *YOU* want it to be about the "entirety of the Republican party," which says a lot more about YOU than my words say about the GOP. Feeling guilty that some in your chosen group embrace Hitlerian speech and actions?

Some people are radical and America is divided. I have no doubt Robert Card sympathizes with you.

In 2023,
"Seig heil" is supposed to mean movie dialogue
and nothing else.

Well, *someone* here is quite concerned that by providing the translation of "hail victory" into the original German, I just called the entire Republiqan Party a bunch of Nazis. Now why would he think that?
