This Is the Most Wanted Car in America (and It’s Not Even Close).

Do i need to post for you the history of ICE auto industry subsidies provided by the gov't pre the EV age?
Do I need to post for you the history of Oil and Gas industry subsidies?
Do you understand the "bribes" handed out via these subsidies to ICE manufacturing DWARF what has been given to EV's and thus EV's are winning despite being at a massive disadvantage.

Go for it! I've already had that debate more than once, and you'll lose it too. Neither got any massive subsidies to sell their products like EV's have. Neither get huge tax breaks either. Instead, most of what you call "subsidies" were things the government wanted done, like research on special fuels for military use, and the like rather than just handouts and bribes like the EV industry is getting.

Inb4 idiots say there is no demand for EV's and it is all forced!

(Oops, see i was already too late as i review my post)

All? No. Mostly, yes. EV's are not popular. There is a thin segment of the market that wants one. Norway had to push massive subsidies and bribes on their populace to get to something like 80% EV's there. Now, ferry companies won't take the vehicles aboard because of the fire risk. So, Norwegians would have a really hard time taking their EV car to the mainland of Europe if they wanted to.

As we see with EV's already piling up on dealer lots, as gas cars dont. Not to worry, the Revolution will force the issue, what the people want is now irrelevant.

All hail the red, white and Musk.

Tesla, which is scheduled to report quarterly earnings on July 19, delivered a record 466,140 new cars over the second quarter, up 83.5% from a year earlier and 10.2% north of the 422,875 tally reached over the three months ended in March.
Bright Future for Tesla
Analysts' forecasts for deliveries ranged from 440,000 to around 450,000, with Refinitiv pegging the March quarter target at 448,000.
Besides the strong previous quarter, analysts at Mizuho said they see a bright future for the company due to its position as one of the few EV companies that has a global footprint.
Mizuho sees Tesla as the world leader in EVs for at least the next decade thanks to Gigafactories in Berlin and Shanghai, along with plans to build another in Mexico.
So, if we were to tell you that Tesla is the most wanted car brand in the U.S., you probably wouldn't be surprised. But we're going to tell you anyway.
In fact, Tesla was the*car brand people are looking to buy the most across the world, topping the tables as the most Googled car for sale in 39 countries, according to a study by AutoTrader.
It's Good News for All EV Makers
The EV-maker nailed down the top spot in the U.S., in 25 out of 50 states, along with Canada, France, Spain, Germany, Australia, UAE and Scandinavia.
AutoTrader said the report analyzes Google search data to reveal which cars people want to buy the most in over 180 different countries across 200 different car brands.
The group's data shows that in the UK some of the quickest selling cars include the BMW X1, which had an average live listing time of just 11 days, and the Lexus NX 350h, which had an average live listing time of only 13 days.
AutoTrader said Tesla's popularity is good news for the entire EV market as it shows that there is a sustained appetite for electric vehicles in major auto countries.
Because coupled with a sane govt. that offers incentives, Musk has slashed the price of his cars.

He's trying to kill Ford, who has brand new EVs piling up in lots.

Tesla has implemented another wave of price cuts across its Model 3 and Model Y vehicles. It’s the second time this month, resulting in its electric cars starting under $40,000 before incentives.
After consistently and gradually increasing its electric vehicle prices over the last two years, Tesla has started bringing those prices down in 2023 to keep demand up.
It started with a big price drop in early January, and then some smaller price adjustments after with the latest coming in February for Model 3 and Model Y, and last month for Model S and Model X.
We thought Tesla would take a break from reducing prices, but the automaker again slashed prices across its entire lineup earlier this month.
Now just a few weeks later, Tesla is again adjusting prices down on Model 3 and Model Y in the US, and not by a small amount.

Electric cars can be fast too, and some of them are much, much faster than ICE vehicles. In March 2023, the Pininfarina Battista ran the quarter mile in just 8.55 seconds, becoming not only the fastest quarter-mile EV, but also the fastest quarter-mile production car in the world.

But, for the typical Gearhead in America, they have a problem with the silent performance of the Electric vehicles.

There is nothing like the sound of a V8 with a performance exhaust system going through the gears at top speed. And most electrical cars do not even have gears or transmissions.

I am here to help. My inventive mind starts to tick. How do you get the typical sports car enthusiasts and gearheads on board with Electric cars?

Give them what they truly desire- NOISE!

With all of the artificial Intelligence available today, I believe the sound of a muscle car can me emulated and applied to electric vehicles and even the shifting of gears can be also emulated.

It may require a huge speaker mounted beneath the vehicle to broadcast the sound, but I believe the demand could easily be met.

Of course it is a gimmick, but who really cares? Hot Rodders have been using fake hood scoops, and fake spoilers, and many other gimmicks for many years.

The power of an EV in the fastest mode is ridiculous.

Of course, you might be dead on the road before you get home, but those suckers can move.

After all these years it is finally being learned that EV's chew up tires and roads, which aint good. On the other hand in the future very few people will own a car, and you will only be allowed to call a car if

1: The Regime approves of what you want it for

2: You have the required social credit points

3: You have enough Fed digital currency

You can be absolutely sure that at some point, likely not too far off, EV's will be both speed and acceleration limited.

The power of an EV in the fastest mode is ridiculous.

Well, noise is useful in some cases.

Take your average Harley Dude. The main reason why he selected a Harley, is because no other Twin Cylinder motorcycle has that unique patented loping sound.

And one of the reasons why Motorcycles are allowed to operate on the streets with such loud exhausts, is because the DOT believes that they are safer to ride with all of that noise!

When you hear a Harley coming up out of your blind spot to pass you on buy, it alarms you that it is there, and prevents people from just changing lanes without looking, only in this case, hearing the rider approach you to accomplish the same thing essentially!

Of course, you might be dead on the road before you get home, but those suckers can move.

There's a noticeable difference in the acceleration of an EV and an ICE car. You can feel it.
The instant you exert any pressure on the accelerator of an EV, the car responds instantly with no lag. The torque is instant. And the G forces are real.
