The threat to democracy theme won’t get the Dems elected. They tried it last time and Americans didn’t listen.

I agree. Just my observation. Not everyone’s life revolves around politics. Those folks are less likely to sit around the dinner table and have conversations revolve around thinking our democracy is at risk.

They might be moved by cultural issues, but most likely its economic issues that have the biggest influence on how they vote.
