WE ARE NOT ON THIS ONE.

Grumpy wants to remain anonymous. The only way he can verify his military service is to surrender that anonymity...which he should not be asked to do.

You might try surrendering yours as part of your request. He might provide evidence as a result.

But whether he does or not...to arbitrarily deny his service is a very low blow. If someone did it to me, I would tell them to go fuck themselves.

As I said, we agree on lots. But here you are off base.

So when you invoke personal circumstances and anecdotes like that, you're lending your argument credibility of authority. And it's all bullshit because Conservatives have been doing this for years; pretending to be veterans, pretending to be small business owners, pretending to be Obamacare victims...it's all pretend. No one holds them accountable for it because most people just accept the qualifiers at face value. My question is; why? (Several here constantly scream that I was never a teacher... So, what did they do? They searched for and posted a screen shot of the Dept. of Education page with my teaching credentials on it=even pointed out that my parent's names were on the same page...but they continued to scream that I have never taught.
