THIS is CNN

We really should start a class action law suit against CNN. I wonder how many times we can find an anchor saying.........." Now, LIVE FROM THE WHITEHOUSE we go to James $*$%*^ for a report" ? Hmmmmmmmmmmm  When really he is in a green room just down the hall.

Never.

Standing in front of the White House huh? More like standing in front of a green screen at CNN until the camera fell and made you look like jackasses. So many lies all falling apart now the powers that be dont have enuff fingers to keep all the leaks plugged.....;)

That isn't green screen.

What's your favorite source then, Mott?

Where else? JPP! ;)

It may not exactly be my most accurate source of information but it’s certainly my favorite. LOL

Seriously though. I often use JPP as a starting point on current events and see what captures my interest and then go elsewhere. I do the same with Yahoo and Google News but that’s just to grab headlines. Anything I read on those I take with a grain of salt. However, used correctly both are good research tools. So when I read a headline of interest it gives me ideas on the type of information I would like to learn more about, verify its credibility from multiple sources, I look into reliable sources of data and when I really want to zone in on a topic I look for peer reviewed material on related history, public hearings, public policy, etc, etc,.

I used to religiously go up to the convenience store on Sundays and get a cup of Joe, a snack and three newspapers. The NYT, Wall Street Journal and the Columbus Dispatch.

My favorite news magazine is The Economist.

For online news in the general news category I like Reuters, AP and WSJ - What’s News. All three are good at fact finding and presenting facts and analysis with a high degree reliability and a minimum of political bias or bleed over from the editorial sections.

In other words I don’t really have a favorite. I even read from some of the bat shit crazy sites like Wonkette and Infowars.

I guess Grind said it best about me when he called me pedantic (that one hurt). LOL
