This is an interesting

Fair enough. I think a lot of people are like that. Ultimately, it's the policies that the parties will implement that we'll favor over other considerations, since those are the things that affect us.

I'm not a member of any political party nor do I associate myself in any official manner with one. I primarily vote for those of one particular party but that goes back to what I said above. I have voted 3rd party and did so for President on more than one occasion. I have voted in EVERY election whether it be primary, off-year, run-off, or general since the first year I was old enough to do so. I've moved twice in the past 25 years and although the districts where I lived didn't change even on the local level elections as both moves didn't total 5 miles combined, one of the first things I did upon having other official documents changed (i.e. - driver's license) was to change my voter registration to the proper precinct and voting location. It's that important.

That I vote toward a particular viewpoint doesn't make me partisan. I have voted straight ticket on one occasion but the was from a point of efficiency rather than party support. In the end, had I voted candidate by candidate, the result would have been the same. It saved time.

you're currently witnessing HRC use deceit and deception, outright lies and falsehoods, to get herself and her friends in to the highest positions of power in this country, but you're still naive enough to believe that she's doing it all for your own good. how did you make it to the age you are now?

I don't think she is doing it for any reason other than her personal ego, but I am using that ambition because she is using my ideology to get there.

She is going to promote my ideology because its what is most likely to get her what she wants. I am voting her because its most likely to get me what I want, and what I believe is best for America.

I can respect that. You'll call BS, but I'm not that far from a description like that.

In the context of this board, though, everyone has a group that they go with more, and that they oppose more. Either the lefty posters drive you more nuts, or the rightie posters do. I can't think of one poster who doesn't have that kind of POV.

So, it's just kind of strange when posters continually post things like the OP - the whole "hey, what about YOUR side" stuff. Because just about everyone here has at least some level of blind eye for that, whether they want to admit it or not.

It's a strange new trend on the board for the right. "Hey, lefties - call out your own!"

I mean, whatever floats your boat, I guess. But it's completely lacking in self-awareness for most of you.

Maybe the right should just do a blanket statement like you did.

:rofl2:
