This guy is a lunatic regarding Martha's Vineyard

I don't know about that. Those companies need extras FAST without the hassle so they send trucks to those temp labor places or wherever they congregate and they just jump in the back of trucks and off they go.

Well, I know about that. They get payed far less. They are treated as transient labor. " Oh,...this isnt enuff for you,...you want more? get the F otta here then,....there are 8 more trucks just like you that are dying to put on our shingles for whatever we give them".

The left overlooks the millions of legal immigrants who went through the process, waited patiently in line and became legal American citizens.

How about those who have been waiting in line for years and now see illegal lawbreakers put to the head of the lines.

So you support them being used and worked like dogs for low pay? You should re think this because in no way do I believe you are that kind of person.
Lol, now Stone, you know that’s a leap. You know as a liberal I support a path to citizenship so business can’t take advantage of them. I support changes to work VISAs to make it easier for them to come and work.

Correct, Stone.

Jul 24, 2019 — Undocumented foreign workers earn lower wages than legal immigrants and ... The hourly wage for undocumented workers is much lower than for ...

The Facts:

“Undocumented immigrants cannot legally work in the United States, yet they comprise nearly 5 percent of overall U.S. employment — and a larger share of workers in particular industries and occupations. An estimated 7.6 million unauthorized immigrants ages 18 and older were in the U.S. labor force in 2017 (representing 4.6 percent of the labor force), according to a report by the Pew Research Center. There is large variation in the participation of undocumented immigrants in different industries, with undocumented immigrants estimated to make up a relatively large share of employment in agriculture (18 percent), construction (13 percent) and leisure and hospitality (10 percent) (see here). Undocumented workers were estimated to account for about 3 percent of private sector GDP in 2011-2013.
The hourly wage for undocumented workers is much lower than for U.S.-born workers and legal immigrants — but much of this difference can be explained by differences in education and in other factors. By their very nature, there are no comprehensive official counts of undocumented workers and their wages. In order to study this population, most researchers use a procedure that ascribes undocumented status to individuals in existing databases, based on a series of demographic and socioeconomic characteristics. Using this type of data, we estimate that, on average, the hourly wages of undocumented workers are 42 percent lower than the wages of U.S.-born workers and legal immigrants. To a large extent this reflects differences between these groups of workers. Undocumented workers tend to have lower educational attainment than documented workers. In addition, there may be differences in skills other than education – for instance, an imperfect command of English or lack of other local skills can be associated with lower wages until workers acquire those skills.”

Okay let's say both illegals and legals get paid $80 a day. One without taxes and one with taxes. Who get paid more?

If illegals get paid $70 and the legals $80, would it be about the same?

80 dollars a day???!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not without a frikkin time machine buddy! Try 3 to 4 times that. BTw...when you get paid on the books that means you are covered by workmans comp, eligible for unemployment bennys, and your SS is being loaded in to. To say nothing of Health insurance, paid vacation, and bonus.

Martha's Vineyard response shamed DeSantis' cruel migrant ploy

Martha’s Vineyard mobilized. The ugly, partisan, racist trick backfired badly, generating nationwide sympathy for immigrants crossing the southern borders, and likely handing this group a stronger chance of settling successfully in the United States.

The counter-move, a spontaneous response by wealthy Martha’s Vineyarders and working locals, proved the perfect foil. Philippa Rollins, at MV Community Services, who’s been on the island most of her life, said she had been frustrated recently about the hassle of the ferries. Then came the unity to lift up the migrants.

If illegals respected and obeyed our immigration laws, there would be no one to be taken advantage of.

You obviously don’t believe our immigration laws should be enforced.

How about our Ccivil Rights Laws!

Those compassionate M.V. folks called for the immigrants to be sent to a military facility.

It's a hypothetical, silly boy.

I don’t believe that those immigrants who waited in line and those who are still waiting in line for years, to immigrate legally are pleased with those illegals who jump the line.

Some of the far left loons on this forum have no clue.
