This is why a simple tax reform isn't enough (though it's still badly needed). You need term limits, both for officies and for careers. And a Lottery for the House wouldn't hurt either.

Make it so no person can serve more than 20 years in elected positions total, and no person may serve 2 terms consecutively. By constantly rotating people out of power, they have no interest in reelection, and corporations have far less interest in putting money into them, as it's a poor investment.
 
Also, kudos to Ken for figuring out, in a single quote, how best to articulate the problems of a nation with 230+ years of history and over 300,000,000 people in it. Brilliant.

The problem is you and others like you don't know what "crony capitalism" actually is.. You think it's the free market with no Government influence. The problem is that isn't what is in the Constitution. Further, you don't know the cripple big Corps have put on America because your little ears next to your little brain are always closed if someone doesn't agree with you.
