Things are not looking great for the US these days.

4th term?

What world are you posting from?

Part of the outrage of you drones is that Trump denied Obama a 4th term. The disastrous 3rd with the clown avatar of Quid Pro Biden damn near ended the Nation. You figured one more and America was done forever.

Okay, so? That doesn't mean they absolutely need the money. I do electrical side work because I like staying busy and getting the exercise. I really don't need the money it generates, but it certainly doesn't hurt.
Right. People go get a big needle stuck up their arm just for enjoyment.

You really are fucking stupid.

Mexico gets about 20% of its GDP from illegals making remittances from the US for example.
How do we know that is a lie? It does not even begin to make sense. The GDP of Mexico is about $2 trillion, and there are about 5 million undocumented Mexicans in the USA. So you want us to believe the average undocumented immigrant is sending home $80k a year? Not even close to being possible.

Total remittances into Mexico are about 3.4% to 3.6% of GDP. While that is from all countries, most comes from the USA. Some comes from places like Canada and Spain. The majority that comes from America, comes from US citizens. That is, comparatively high earning US citizens sending money to Mexican relatives, but also retired Americans who live in Mexico, but have their money in the USA, and US citizens who earn their money in the USA, but live in Mexico. A majority of the remainder is from legal immigrants. Less than 1% of GDP is dependent on undocumented workers.

The number of undocumented workers from Mexico has been dropping for 25 years. Mexico is doing OK, and the border is strong. They will not get refugee status, which is the major way over the border. As those that are here get older, they start thinking of going home to retire.

And many times they bring their American relatives with them. Also there are US citizens moving to Mexico for the cheaper cost of living. This has created a situation where the number of American illegal aliens in Mexico keeps rising.

Trade wise things are a complete disaster:

Currently Canada and Mexico are openly discussing leaving USMCA trade agreement and Mango Mussolini has also said he doesn't care about the trade agreement.

The EU has suspended its approval of the US trade agreement and are likely to walk away completely

Jobs numbers have been in the tank for a year.

tRumple thinskin has likely permanently destroyed any and all goodwill and trust in the world.

Everything from permanent closer of bases around the world to completely dropping the dollar as the international currency of trade, are on the table.

China sees this and is already in motion to take advantage of it around the world.

We aren't in a good spot here, folks.
Optics projected by relative time logistics never show the future as it actually arrives daily here.

We continue to wait for Gardner to backup this claim.

Thank you, Gardner, for providing further support of my position. Mexico has a $2 trillion economy, so slightly more than $60 billion would be about 3.4 to 3.6% of the economy. Nowhere near the 20% Gardner claimed for just undocumented immigrants.

That slightly over 3% is all remittances from all countries and from US citizens, documented immigrants, and undocumented immigrants. Undocumented immigrants' remittances make up less than 1% of the Mexican economy.

Certainly not 20% as Gardner insanely claimed. Does he want to admit that was a lie?

Okay, I can go with that, except the "lie" part. On the other hand, now that you scored your feeble brownie point explain for the audience how this is a good thing for the United States. While you're at it, explain how a nation losing say, 4% of its GDP is a good thing for that nation.

So you admit that Mexico gets less than 1% of their GDP from undocumented immigrants, but also say it is true they get 20% of their GDP from undocumented immigrants?

Mexico gets about 20% of its GDP from illegals making remittances from the US for example.

Also worth mentioning that they are getting a huge number of undocumented immigrants from the situation. When a mixed family moves to Mexico, they bring their American citizen members. These are often children, who need free education. There are also sick Mexicans and Mexican Americans moving to Mexico for health care, and even Americans with no link to Mexico moving to Mexico.

While you're at it, explain how a nation losing say, 4% of its GDP is a good thing for that nation.
And how would you do that? If you close the border to American citizens, that would leave a lot of Americans with nothing. Not to mention it is illegal. But those Americans would vote against you... And would begin smuggling so it would not be as big of a deal as you think.

Mexico is a cheap place to do business, with an adequate education system. It would adjust. We would too, but we would be poorer for doing it. And part of the adjustment would be to have Mexico become an ally of China... Not a good thing along our border... Especially because trump wants to do the same thing along our northern border.

Mexico is only a small part of the world economy, but the rest of the world, which trump wants to declare economic war against, is 85% of the world economy.

So you admit that Mexico gets less than 1% of their GDP from undocumented immigrants, but also say it is true they get 20% of their GDP from undocumented immigrants?

So, how long are you going to gloat like a 5-year-old about this?

Mexico offers free education up to 8th grade and in some parts even high school. This aside, the rest of your statement is irrelevant drivel.

American citizens are free to reenter the US. Split families are their problem not the government's, and certainly not mine. They chose--CHOSE--to enter the US illegally. They chose to have a child or children who are US citizens. It is not the US governments or my problem when the illegal parents get deported.

That's a stretch. Panama and most S. American countries are waking up to the fact that becoming an ally of China means becoming a vassal and near slave to China. That's why they're starting to kick the Chinese out.

Mexico needs US trade far more than the US needs Mexican trade. Trump is doing the correct thing in slowing or ending globalization of trade where companies seek the most exploitable workforce for maximizing profit.
