Thing1 or any of his friends: Is CNN objective

I'd say no in the sense that they're writing about anything and everything that they can re:Trump no matter how small. Part of it is profits, they have an audience that eats it up. There might also be some vindictiveness there though because Trump clearly singled them out early on and rattled the cage.

This is how cable news works. I don't agree with it either but just like I don't agree with movie studios pumping out sequel after sequel and reboot after reboot, it makes them money. Fox news proved how profitable slanted reporting could be.

Ummm...no. That's probably why I tend to give the orange nut the benefit of the doubt more than I should. I used to watch CNN almost exclusively, especially since '08. I see a definite bias since the election and especially since he gave them the "fake news" moniker. Watching the Morning Express, Blondie puts a negative slant on anything Trump. No biggee in that Fox did it to Obama for 8 years. But I don't like not having a non biased morning show to watch. None of our news networks can claim no bias. I have been watching more BBC lately.

CNN isn't objective, but very few news outlets are. Really, none.

They're not as over-the-top biased as the "FNN" folks say, however. Trump's President - Presidents get criticized. CNN is still one of the best outlets out there.

CNN has become the mirror image of FOXNews.

The way I always broke it down was that Fox was far right, MSNBC was far left, and CNN was fairly close to the center, especially by comparison - though left center for sure.

Since Trump, they've become a bit more biased. I don't want to say more "left" biased, because it's really more anti-Trump bias. But I don't think most of their coverage is unwarranted. Supporters who are looking for glowing, positive stories about this admin are dreaming - objectively, it has been a pretty messy affair thus far.

And they focus on nothing but.

Or maybe you can shoot us a link on positive CNN Trump story.

since Ailes has left Fox has actually improved it's objectiveness

I actually agree w/ that - though their hand was forced by so much negative coverage.

And during the Ailes years, they were the worst of the lot. When elections rolled around, they were just a campaign arm for the RNC.

They still are acting on Trump's behalf, at least Hannity, I don't watch Fox or CNN, my husband watches MSNBC, I do tune in to Ali & Stephanie and Joy! Otherwise, I am a Twitter fan and written news, I also like BBC.

Oh, no doubt - their "commentary" line-up is still very much right-wing.

Hannity really redefines hackery. He's worse than anyone here.

MSNBC has taken CNN's old place. Fox is in trouble with their ratings, Rachel Maddow is killing them every night.
